Zenshuji Soto Mission – 67th Annual Obon Carnival

Location: Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., Little Tokyo, Los Angeles
Delight in a family-friendly celebration honoring heritage and community:
- Cultural Highlights: Tea ceremony, Bon-odori (community dancing), Zendeko taiko drumming, folk dances & music, Shorinji Kempo, and crafts.
- Tasty Offerings: Enjoy BBQ chicken & beef, takoyaki, chirashi sushi, Okinawa dango, somen, tamales, ohagi, corn, shaved ice, umeboshi, home-baked goods, beer, and more.
- Spiritual Tribute: Obon memorial services held at 1:30 p.m. both days.
